Final Cut
As you can see above this is the final edit of our Film Noir sequence and as group we are very proud of our finished product. After the completion of our sequence we promoted our film through the social networking Facebook to get views and feedback, overall the feedback was positive it hilighted the strengths in the sequence and also the weaknesses.
It was brought to our attention of the various camera shots we used and this allowed us to put a twist on the Film Noir genre , we also had a element of horror which made our film into a sub genre.
Overall we were pleased with the end result if we had the chance to do the task again i think we could include even more camera shots and also we can edit it better to convey a better storyline.

preliminary task
Above you can see my preliminary task this was a very exciting and enriching experience as we never used that type of camera equipment before and it was all our first attempt to make a film sequence.
For our preliminary we made a short drama sequence in which we took inspiration from the award winning film series "Rocky".
In this sequence we had to incorporate three editing techniques which included shot reverse shot, match on action while keeping to the 180 degree rule this was challenging as we were very unfamiliar with these techniques.
As a group I believe that we completed these techniques successfully while maintaining the 180 degree rule. After completing the preliminary task we felt more comfortable with the camera equipment and the editing techniques which prepared us for our film sequence.
